ARE MY DEPOSITS INSURED?

First National Bank of Southern California is a participant, under Section 343 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which amends the Federal Deposit Insurance Act to include traditional non-interest bearing transaction accounts as a new temporary deposit insurance category. Under that program, through December 31, 2012 all traditional non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under this Act is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The Dodd-Frank provision is similar to the Transaction Account Guarantee Program (TAGP), but defines non-interest bearing transaction accounts as only traditional non-interest bearing transaction accounts and accounts used as Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts (IOLTAs)
