EVERT C. ALSENZ

Mr. Alsenz was a Founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of Communications
Components Corporation, a manufacturer of computerized navigation and electronic
communications equipment. Under Mr. Alsenz’ leadership, the Company grew
steadily until it was sold to Rockwell International Corporation (Collins
General Aviation Division) in 1979. Mr. Alsenz was then appointed Vice President
of Rockwell International, and General Manager of its Costa Mesa operations for
two years following the sale. In 1981, Mr. Alsenz formed ABI Ltd., originally a
General Partnership and currently an LLC. As the Managing Member of ABI, Mr.
Alsenz formed Piezoelectric Technology Investors, a Limited Partnership to fund
the development of the world’s first quartz based solid state gyroscope. After
patenting the developed technology, Mr. Alsenz sold an exclusive license to
Thorn EMI. Thorn then set up manufacturing and sales facilities. Today, this
angular rate sensor technology is integrated in braking systems of millions of
autos manufactured around the world and is the latest standard used for missile
guidance and aircraft systems. In 1981 and 1982 Mr. Alsenz formed Avant Systems
(later merged into Trivec­-Avant) and Lightning Diversion Systems, respectively.
Trivec designed, built and sold the latest military communications antennas and
systems. Lightning Diversion Systems designed built and sold lightning diversion
strips and surge protection equipment for aircraft. These Companies were sold in
2011 and 2012 respectively. Mr. Alsenz is currently active in the management of
ABP Capital and related companies. These companies primarily buy existing
commercial mortgages and provide bridge financing for mortgagors; all of which
are secured by first trust deeds.

 

Becker

 

 

 

PAUL WM. BECKER, CPA

Mr. Becker earned an MS degree in accounting in 1969 from San Diego State
University, and was employed by Deloitte Haskins & Sells from 1968 until
1972, when he became Vice President of Finance at Communications Components
Corporation. While at Communications Components Corporation, he served on the
Board of Directors until it was acquired by Rockwell International Corporation
in 1979, at which point he transitioned to the Controller of Collins General
Aviation Division of Rockwell in Costa Mesa until 1980. From 1980 to 1981 he
served as both Executive Vice President and Director for Corporate Benefit
Consultants. In 1981 Mr. Becker and Mr. Alsenz formed ABI Ltd., and Mr. Becker
currently maintains financial responsibility for all of ABI’s investments (both
majority owned and controlled by ABI, and majority owned and controlled by the
individual Members of ABI). In addition, Mr. Becker is active in the management
of ABP Capital in a manner similar to that previously described for Mr. Alsenz.

 

 

Persall

 

 

 

MICHAEL A. PERSALL, CPA

Mr. Persall is the Managing Member of ABP Capital. He is a Certified Public
Accountant with extensive experience in construction, real estate, and finance.
In addition, Mr. Persall manages a portfolio of real estate and loans with asset
classes including: industrial, retail, office, multi-family, single family, and
agriculture. Mr. Persall graduated from the University of San Diego with a
Bachelors of Accountancy, and upon graduation accepted a position with the
international accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP in their San Diego Office.
Mr. Persall then left public accounting to join his father in the public works
construction industry, and as an executive was in charge of managing the
estimating, surety, accounting, and finance functions of the company. In 2009,
Mr. Persall used his experience to start Persall Professional Corporation, a
full service accounting firm. Under the leadership of Mr. Persall, the firm grew
significantly and was acquired by AKT, LLP; a large regional accounting firm.
Mr. Persall currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for First
National Bank of Southern California. He also serves on the Leadership Council
for the UC San Diego Pediatric Diabetes Research Center.

Skay New

 

Richard M. Skay, O.D.

Dr. Skay earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of
Optometry in 1982 and has been in private practice of Optometry since that time.
In 2013, Dr. Skay earned the honor of the San Diego County Optometrist of the year.
Dr. Skay currently serves as the President of the San Marcos Educational Foundation,
the Chairman of the Board of Directors for JOB OPTIONS as well as being a member
of the Kiwanis Club of Lake San Marcos. Additionally, Dr. Kay serves the San Diego
County Optometric Society Board as Governmental Affairs Chairman.

 

 

 

Jeff New

 

 

Jeffrey M. Watson

Mr. Watson is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of
First National Bank of Southern California and has 30 years of banking experience.
He has served as the Chief Executive Officer at First National Bank of Southern
California since 2011, and previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at
Manhattan Bancorp and Bank of Manhattan, a de novo federally chartered bank. Mr.
Watson successfully organized the formation, and secured capitalization of $40
million at Manhattan Bancorp and Bank of Manhattan, and grew operations to over
$150 million in assets. Prior to his role at Manhattan Bancorp and Bank of Manhattan,
Mr. Watson served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief
Financial Officer for 1st Century Bank, N.A., a de novo national bank organized in
2003 which he joined in its organizational stage.
